Biographie

The H.O.S.T, lire The Hidden Obscene Sons Of Twilight, est un groupe de rock né à Marseille en 2003.En 2007 réactualise sa formation après le départ de son premier chanteur(Ben) et redevient un trio. Sa musique mélodique et incisive puise ses racines dans des groupes tels que Led Zep, Pearl Jam, Queens Of The Stone Age, ...Un enregistrement au Sound Suite Studio avec Terje Refsness aux machines à été finalisé en Juin 2007, masterisé par Lionel Delanoy, Art Work par Morgane Fraschina.

Entièrement autoproduit ce premier six titres est en vente depuis Janvier 2008 chez quelques disquaires indépendants et diffusé et vendu en ligne par correspondance via le site http://www.les-independants.com ou par nos propres soins [7 euros + 2 euros frais de port France métropolitaine, Commandez là: thefactorycords@hotmail.fr

Un clip a été réalisé en juillet sur "hey you", par Eric Chevillard, en cours de montage. Sortie prévue fin Octobre.

The Host is a french rock band formed during 2003 in Marseille. In 2007, The Host ended its development and became, at the end , a trio-band( lead vocal / guitar, drums, bass)after the departure of his vocal leader(Ben). In no time at all it was giving concerts in local bars and was destined to enlarge its following due to its great enthusiasm for live performances.
The Host’s melodic and incisive music takes its roots from bands like Led Zeppelin, Muse or Pearl Jam...
Continuously growing, The Host is ready to hit the road in France and tour cities and is also looking for opportunities in neighbouring countries.
A recording was realized in June 2007 at the Sound Suite Studio (Marseille) in order to produce his first mini album(6 tracks). Recorded with Terje Refsnes, this album was ended in december 07.Graphisme by Morgane Fraschina.
